Stacy Lewis-Goins, MS, LPC, NCC  received her Master’s of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans and is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is also a National Certified Counselor with a lifelong passion for helping individuals become the best version of themselves.  Stacy believes that every community should have safe spaces where citizens can become their best selves. Professionally, that space is Positive Headspace Mental Health and Wellness Services. Positive Headspaces is a private practice she founded to help individuals “Find and Maintain their Balance”.

As a lifelong New Orleanian, Stacy was educated by the Sisters of Blessed Sacrament (Blessed Sacrament and Xavier University Preparatory High School) while living in a multigenerational home in the Iberville Housing Development. Living in constant duality, Stacy understood the importance of third spaces that facilitated growth that allowed people to reach their goals and a platform for them to feel seen, and to (re)discover their strengths.

Her goal is to collaborate with people on their journey in a compassionate, non-judgmental partnership to help them achieve their goals through encouragement and empowerment as they edit and rewrite their narrative. She also believes that true change is possible when individuals collectively work towards building a better community.

Stacy believes that music is the language of the soul and knowledge is the path to new worlds and experiences. A lover of butterflies and New Orleans culture knows that beauty can emerge from hardship.
